After 20 years in elementary education, I know there’s often a gap between what happens inside a school and what parents understand about it.
School, Decoded is here to close that gap. It’s for parents who want to better understand what’s happening at school, know what questions to ask, and feel more confident supporting their child, without needing a degree in education to figure it all out.
Once a week, I’ll share the things teachers know but parents aren’t always told, from report cards and reading instruction to parent-teacher interviews, learning struggles, social-emotional issues, and the questions worth asking.
No education jargon. No judgement. Just practical, teacher-insider advice to help you understand school and help your child navigate it.
